We collect information you provide directly (name, email, photos, questionnaire answers, location), information generated by your use of the App (matches, messages, activity), and technical data (device type, IP address, app usage analytics).
We use your data to provide and improve the App, to match you with compatible users, to send you notifications and updates, to process payments, to prevent fraud and ensure safety, and to comply with legal obligations.
Your questionnaire answers and profile data are used by our AI matching algorithm to calculate compatibility scores. This data is never sold to third parties. Compatibility scores are computed within our secure platform.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, cloud hosting providers) who are bound by confidentiality agreements. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect safety.
Your profile (name, photos, bio, interests) is visible to other Love Link users. Your email address, exact location, and payment information are never shown to other users.
With your permission, we collect approximate location data to show nearby matches. You can disable location sharing in your device settings at any time.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Love Link is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover a user is under 18, we will immediately delete their account.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data or withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at privacy@lovelink.app.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
