Acceptable Use Guidelines

Love Link · Last updated 8 November 2026 · Applies to every member and every feature.

1. Purpose and scope

These Acceptable Use Guidelines set out what is expected of everyone who uses Love Link, including members, guests and anyone who contacts our team. They apply to all Love Link features: member profiles, messaging, the virtual worlds, video calls, ride requests, growth tools, Mira AI and any future feature.

They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where these guidelines are more specific about behaviour, they apply.

2. Our baseline expectation

Love Link exists for people looking for real connection. Treat every member as a person, not a profile. Be honest about who you are, be clear about what you want, and respect a "no" the first time you hear it.

3. Prohibited conduct

The following are not permitted anywhere on Love Link:

Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking or repeated unwanted contact after someone has asked you to stop.

Hate speech, or content that demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.

Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, sharing intimate images of another person without their consent, or any sexual solicitation of a minor.

Impersonation: pretending to be another member, a Love Link employee, a public figure, or using another person's photos, identity or member ID.

Fraud and deception: romance scams, financial solicitation, investment or crypto pitches, "emergency" money requests, or any attempt to obtain money, account details or identity documents from another member.

Commercial use: advertising, recruiting, promoting other platforms, selling goods or services, or using the app for escort, sugar-dating or other transactional arrangements.

Sharing another member's private information — including their address, workplace, phone number, screenshots of private messages, or member ID with a third party — without their consent.

Uploading malware, scraping member data, probing or attacking the app, circumventing age or subscription checks, or creating accounts by automated means.

Anything unlawful under the laws that apply to you, or that would expose another member to legal risk.

4. Honest profiles and identity

Use your own photographs, taken within the last few years, and your real age. Members represent themselves accurately, including relationship status and intentions. Verification is available to all members and we encourage it: verified profiles are trusted faster, and identity checks help keep the community safe for everyone.

One account per person. Creating a new account to get around a suspension is not permitted.

5. Consent in messages, calls and virtual worlds

Consent must be explicit, informed and ongoing. Sending unsolicited sexual content, pressuring someone for photos, or continuing to message after a clear request to stop is a violation. This applies equally in text, in video calls, and inside the Night Club, Beach and Game Room worlds.

You must be 18 or older to use Love Link. If you believe a member is under 18, report it immediately using the in-app report form.

6. Artificial intelligence features

Mira, our AI companion, is a personal growth tool, not a person and not a licensed therapist. Do not use it to harass others, generate content that breaks these guidelines, or attempt to extract another member's private information.

Automated message protection reviews messages for safety signals. Attempting to defeat it, or using bots or scripts to send messages on your behalf, is prohibited.

7. Meeting in person and rides

When you move a connection into the real world, meet in a public place first and tell someone you trust where you are going. Love Link does not conduct criminal background checks on every member and cannot guarantee anyone's conduct.

Ride features are provided by independent drivers. Treat drivers with courtesy, and never share a ride with someone who makes you feel unsafe.

8. Reporting a concern

Use the report option on any profile or message, or send a complaint through the in-app form. Include as much detail as you can: what happened, when, and any screenshots. Reports are confidential. We do not tell the other member who reported them.

Deliberately false reports are themselves a violation.

9. How we enforce these guidelines

Depending on severity and history, we may issue a warning, remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently close an account, remove a member from verification, or cancel a subscription without refund where the Terms allow.

We may act immediately and without prior notice where there is a risk to a person's safety. We preserve relevant records where a report suggests a crime, and may contact law enforcement in line with our Law Enforcement Guidelines.

Appeal a decision by replying to the notice you receive. We review appeals once, and we may decline an appeal where the conduct is clear.

10. Changes

We update these guidelines as the product and the risks around it change. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Love Link after a change means you accept the updated guidelines.

Contact our trust and safety team through the in-app report form, or see our Law Enforcement Guidelines for how we respond to legal requests.
